Home Gym in the Winter Garden

Our clients have always led active lifestyles. However, they were not always able to find the time to go to the gym. That is why they put a few pieces of equipment in their garage, which allowed them to do a quick workout. However, this was not exactly a comfortable solution. Limited space and lack of access to natural light made the clients decide to create their dream home gym.

We started the project with a joint meeting at the client's home, where we discussed the workouts and equipment needed, and agreed on the dimensions of the future gym, which was to stand at the back of the house as a separate room but directly connected to it.

After collecting the data, we prepared a visualisation showing the layout of selected machines and equipment, taking into account the amount of free space around. In this way, we obtained a surface area that allows the client to exercise on a bar or on wheels, to work freely with barbells, or to spread a mat on the floor and do stretching after training.

The design and construction work was commissioned to an architectural firm, which designed the structure of the room based on the specifications and our recommendations. We were in constant contact with the architect, which made it possible to avoid possible errors, such as the height of the screed in relation to the permanent structure after the rubber floor was laid. Nuances that have a major impact on the subsequent use of the room.


Once the architect's office had handed over the finished design, we proceeded to install the equipment.
