A Few Words About the Client

Our new client is a private investor over 40 years old who, together with his wife, decided to create a 30-square-meter gym in their newly built home near Warsaw. The couple has been active in sports for several years, training under the supervision of a personal trainer at a public fitness club. They place great importance on maintaining physical health and shaping their physique.

The space designated for the home gym is located on the ground floor of the house, has a height of 3 meters, and features a separate exit to the garden. We believe that the ground floor is the best location for a gym for several reasons:

1. It provides easy access from all areas of the home, making it easier to complete a workout.
2. It is illuminated by natural daylight and often has a separate exit to the garden or terrace.
3. It is a room where air conditioning is usually already installed.
4. It has sufficient height, allowing for the installation of tall machines or equipment mounted on the walls or ceiling.

Client's Goal

The client's goal was to create a strength training area in their new home as quickly as possible to coincide with their move-in. This would allow for a smooth transition from training at a fitness club to training in their own space.

From the meeting at our showroom to the installation of the equipment in the client's home, it took just under three weeks. We coordinated the details of the project with the project manager overseeing the construction and finishing of the house. The goal was achieved ahead of schedule.

Equipment, Challenges, and Showroom Visit

When choosing equipment for the home gym, the client was primarily looking for solid and heavy equipment that would allow for safe strength training without requiring floor anchoring. It’s worth noting that the investor is a tall, well-built man who, as he told us, lifts tons of weights, so the equipment had to be durable. He rejected expensive machines with plastic components and lightweight constructions that might not withstand heavy loads due to the lower amount of steel used in their production.

A turning point in the search was a visit to our showroom. The client viewed the machines in person, tested them, assessed their quality, and compared them with those he had already seen on the market. He found the product he was looking for.

During the showroom visit, the topic of flooring came up. Initially, the floor of the home gym was to be covered with vinyl panels. Ultimately, the client chose a rubber floor for safety and comfort during workouts. The floor was adjusted in height to match the gym's entrance doors, ensuring easy opening and closing, and aligned with the hallway floor to create a smooth, flat surface.

The project included a showroom visit, understanding the client's needs, selecting equipment, preparing visualizations, dedicated transport, and installation.
